Revisiting places of our childhood soothes the soul, it’s almost as if we are children once again. Few years ago , I revisited Kashmir from UK, where I spent 6 years from age of 3 to age 9 with both sets of my late grandparents , those were the happiest years of my childhood. My maternal Pashtun grandparents lived atop a mountain in a remote area , back of their house was carved out of base of a mountain and they had this tree in the middle of the garden. As children , we would sit under it during mid day heat , it was the best shade and Natural AC one can ever wish for. Returning and revisiting woke up so many emotions as grandparents had passed many decades ago but that tree still gives shade to my second cousins children. Our roots are so detrimental in shaping who we end up as. Stay blessed professor sahib, May Allah always give you peace & tranquility 🤲🏼

I also went to a place where i used to live 18 years ago. I met my first Ustaad after 18 years. Who taught me how to recite Qur'an. We both Ustad and Shagird started 🫂crying.
