I did the math and a Tesla would still cost me way more than my ICE car. First Tesla offered me $5,00 below wholesale for my trade then it would cost me $20,000 to upgrade to a Model Y.
Then install a charger for $300-500. I would save $150 a month in fuel but my car insurance for a Tesla goes up $90 a month.
So by my calculations the Tesla wouldn’t save me any money for 20 years. But Tesla would need a battery for $15,000 so it makes no sense.

What a load of rubbish. EV’s are not the way forward . Sales of EV’s are 40% down. Please who own a ev are extremely unlikely to buy another ev ever again
