My good friend had ones worse than this. I thought her toes were missing when i first saw her feet. She was in her 70's. When i met her, she was addicted to street fentanyl because her doctors wouldn't give her anything for pain, and fentanyl is the only thing available on the black market where I live, unfortunately. I tried to help her get into the methadone program, but she was a few minutes late and that was the only day we were able to get a ride for her. The medical transports wouldn't take her because it was too early that she had to be there for a walk-in. It was such a hassle she just gave up. She ended up dying of a fentanyl overdose. Thank God for drug prohibition.
