Lifetime time fluids…till warranty ends, nothing more. Replace your transmission fluid every 30,000 miles regardless

The average person does not think to have their transmission serviced. The only think about the engine oil.

Transmissions always use to be 100k service. Now they claim their lifetime. But if you look at the manufacturer of the transmissions website they claim you need to service them. The information out there is conflicting. But yes you do need to service them it's just a matter of when. I have seen some that claim you should do it every two years or 12,000 miles. That seems a little excessive but if you need to do it

Hey, what type of gasket do you use? The mopar form a gasket or what type of material, gasket?
How are u removing a stucky, old gasket? Thinking if doing an old Ford but only flimsy rubber or a cork gasket is available. Im thinking leakage

First thing I did was schedule for a maintenance like oil change etc then I had the transmission fluid done

Most don’t know it needs serviced. Older vehicles never got serviced until 100k or never. Of course modern vehicles need serviced as early as 30k.

My 03 probaly has the original fluid. Still nice color, no smell.
