The way this show had a whole generation of girls convinced this was a romantic underdog relationship and that her parents just didn’t understand their love and he didn’t know she was a teenager when they hooked up but then also that was retconned and he did know the whole time and then they get married at the end of the show and in the spin-off the main protagonists ends up giving them her baby to adopt ~ is insane
