The jumpscare, im so ashamed that i learned how to do makeup from all of these people (iykyk). Even more ashmed in the grown adults who think he did nothing wrong and the parents who allow their kids to watch.

Perspective from someone who lives in an area with limited resources, is disabled and takes care of someone else who is disabled-
Do the best you can. A few small changes add up and you don’t have to be perfect.
We need a lot of disposable items (medical supplies) so make other changes where we can. I cook a lot at home and try to buy from the best options possible.
When I do need to buy things for the house (personal care, laundry, etc) I usually find the best deal and avoid Amazon as much as possible.
Clothing I buy whatever is going to last and fits - which means usually getting a few new pairs of pants for my friend a year, and I can usually mend my own clothes. I have clothing that has lasted me 10+ years at this point. I don’t have many good thrift stores in my area, but when I travel to San Francisco I try to shop from Out of the Closet or similar vs Goodwill.
If I have things that don’t work for me, I have a few local friends I swap with.
