I don't know what state this is but those strain insulators need to be oriented perfectly straight so the wire sits clean down the middle. The first one he puts it in is so unaligned the cable is being cut on each corner by the holder. Only one of them was oriented correctly. An inspector/ foreman/ anybody who has the slightest clue would absolutely lose their mind at this sight and heads would roll. If it is not seated absolutely perfect during windy conditions and the natural occurrences of sway on the lines if it is not seated perfectly it just crashes into a sharp edge on two sides of the holder and destroy the wire over time. Whoever installed these vertical cable insulators should never work on high tension power lines again and the person that placed the cable and then thinking it's okay should suffer the same.

Thanks, I think, to the original Jurassic Park, that kind of wire always exudes a sense of brutal death, for me. There's just something eerie about seeing something so mundane, that channels almost inconceivable, invisible potential for destruction.
You can't see it, you can't tell by its outward appearance, but touch that while it's energized, and you WILL die...

Looks like a medium voltage overhead line between 10kV - 30kV; the bonding will get done by a special winding and the insulators maybe will be covered with a Bird Protection.
