Bend both knees.Ā With feet together, use your ankle to create an inside edge on the right blade. Push down into the ice under the arch of the right foot on the inside edge. The skate moves directly side until the right knee is straight.Ā Lift the blade off the ice.Ā Glide on the Forward Glide Point (FGP) of the left blade (see our other videos on gliding correctly).
Place the right foot one guard length ahead on the inside edge. Using a scissor-like action of both inner thighs (adductors), push the left blade under the body on the center of the outside edge.Ā The push is directly on the outside of the arch of the left foot.Ā Deepen the knee bend on the right skating leg to allow the left leg to pass under the body.Ā Glide on the FGP of the right blade.Ā Once the left knee is straight, lift the blade off the ice.Ā Rise up and repeat.

Well I got the cross over off the right foot, now I just need to get the balance on one foot done and the underpush cleaned up. That's going to be more difficult, but the crossover was a huge obstacle I had to get over first I think.
