Yes, adding the cup holder helps so much! I got a cup holder and a purse that just clip on to my wheelchair magnetically so I wouldn’t have to reach for them all the time. The first time I was in a doctor’s office and I just got my water right off my wheelchair instead of having to reach forward to get it off a rather high side table the amount of energy and extra pain in my back and hips and knees this saved me was mind blowing to me! 🤯🤯 It is definitely a must when getting out in my wheelchair but I don’t use the cupholder at home as much because I’m able to set up my space a little bit easier at home. When out and about, however, it is definitely a must for me! 🥤🥤 I really love the brakes on yours! I’ve also been wanting to get hot pink covers for the spokes on mine because every time I see somebody else with them they just make me smile and make me happy so I think I’d really enjoy having those on mine! I love the rainbow ones on yours for Pride! So awesome! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 I’m still trying to find a cushion I’m happy with and one of the tires halfway came off on the way through the lobby into our hotel a few weeks ago. Thankfully, we were going into the hotel but just getting through the lobby, the elevator and then down the long hall to get into our hotel room with the uneven gate of the wheelchair put me into so much excruciating hip pain that I had a 2 1/2 hour seizure as soon as I got back to our room, and it was awful! I am using my transfer in the house wheelchair at the moment, but it wasn’t designed for long term use. The wheelchair I was using to get out in was my grandmother’s, which I’ve been very fortunate to have but after 5 years of regular use it had never seen before so many things are falling off of it now. Also, it’s never been that comfortable or fit me that well. So, I think I’m just gonna have to get a wheelchair specifically for me as it would make life much easier for me! 👩🏻‍🦽👩🏻‍🦽 I’m so glad you were able to find a wheelchair that fit your measurements on eBay and get what you needed but also save some money as you did so! That’s brilliant! 🎉🎉 I just found your channel two days ago because it was recommended to me for Autism content. Then, I discovered that you deal with seizures and are an ambulatory wheelchair user, too!
