There's always many intricate nuances involved when we need to talk about India, a land of one of most diverse cultures and communities and non-homogeneous people. Casteism (Jati-Varna) is a hierarchical system of division of labor which was based on hereditary and often indulged in discrimination. It isn't in absolute level anymore. Society moved on, some cases here and there. About muslim victimhood, you just need to follow historical and contemporary facts not rhetorical articles. About cow smuggling, the poor farmers and their families depend on cows for their whole lifestyle from food to labor and manure, etc... Still violence is something not justified. But, Lawlessness is a major problem in a third world country like India. The issue of colorism isn't as rampant as active discrimination but subtle and subliminal downgrading of darker shades is a reality, Yes. India is still struggling with poverty, casteism, misogyny and patriarchy, but it moved along right direction and progressed in these aspects. Still can do better. India is not a dystopia like it was portrayed in the West. Need to understand better.
