Endeavor is technically never redeemed. The manga makes room for his children to have various feelings about it. He has accepted that he will never be forgiven and doesn't deserve it.

Endeavor never got a redemption arc. He is around to show that in real life, a messed-up person will not always get a chance at redemption and at best will have to go and mend the bridge he broke. Honestly, while part of it is Dabi forcing the issue, Endeavor forced the issue on Dabi, so honestly the fact that his family is even willing to tolerate him is big of the Todorokis.

Low key I get hating what endeavor has done but I hate the fact that ppl only stand on h8m not being redeemable because his issues are realistic. Both Danny and Nick have for sure been on board with redempti9n arcs in the past in some sort of anime where there crimes are like terrorism and because there crimes are super powered based in a fantasy world they don't get as much hate. Like im not gonna defend beating your wife and children but I will say it is far far less of a crime than ppl like Obito who gets ppl who try to act like he wasn't a world leading terrorist for 2 decades. Now I'm not a fan of Endeavors crimes but in anime if anything is redeemable by like sacrifice or changing abuse may not be forgiven but it's definitely one that can be overlooked in the face of evil

You don't choose who gets redemption. You choose if he gets forgiveness. Anyone can be rehabilitated. If he truly tries his best, he is redeemed. It's his journey. What else should we do to him? Kill him? What does that do for society or his victims?

Like seriously, my dad was not NEAR as bad as endeavor, and have spent YEARS processing the anger and trauma I have from him, and one of the things that made me furious after he passed was everyone saying "oh he was such a great man", I'm like "you didn't even know is damn middle name, don't act like you know who he really was", so I 100% feel for the kids who resent endeavors fame. For the record through, endeavor is making a hell of a lot more effort than my dad did, hahaha...

I mean Touya wasn’t necessarily driven into Villainy more say, he ran away, but ended up dying, thus when brought back as a Nomu, he had those emotions from his childhood which spiraled him into wanting revenge and if villainy was his only option, it essentially was the only way, also Afo had the doctor make sure he was loyal

It’s not about redemption it’s about atoning for what he’s done and that is my favorite part of the series.

Idk there's so many shounen with characters who commit far worse crimes than domestic abuse and get off scott free it didn't bother me that much, plus I do think the arc is handled pretty well and he continues to accept that everything is his fault and that it's ok that his family never forgives him for it.

Endeavor's Arc isnt abour redemption or forgiveness. Its about atonement.
Also i would say hes still allowed to work as a hero because hes literally one of the strongest non-nomu beings alive. Also im personally of the belief that your personal life shouldnt effect your career.
