Honestly, I think missing link being canceled is good because the story is amazing and impact on the series will be astounding so it deserves to be a full game for console. I don't want it to have the same fate as kh unchained x and ect. Those games had a really good and impactful story but suffer from not being a full-fledged 3d game

I feel that. And I'll say this as kindly as I can because I do appreciate the memories and the nostalgia I had when I first played the Kingdom Hearts series and Final Fantasy games when I was a teenager, but I feel that Kingdom Hearts is being used as a scapegoat for Square Enix's executives to keep loyal fans like us engaged enough that we'll follow any little bit of information even if it has NOTHING to do with Kingdom Hearts cause that's how they'll keep making money off us and if the current state of games and the game industry as a whole is anything to go by, then this game may really costcaround $100 when it comes out and I have to ask myself "is it worth it?". I love Kingdom Hearts I really do. I'd love to know how it all ends, I also really enjoyed other games like pokémon, sonic the hedgehog, the Final Fantasy series. But a lot of games these days tend to cater to new audiences and younger generations aren't really getting the point of playing these games cause it costs too much for their parents to afford, they have become addicted to tablet and phone app games like Roblox and Tocaboca and there really isn't anything the entertainment industry is doing these days to keep these games interesting for kids and adults who still play video games they have grown up playing. To me it
doesn't matter what age you are you, if you enjoy something, you should have every right to pursue it and enjoy it while it lasts. But how long will these companies keep us guessing before they realize these are the games we really want and not the slop we keep getting year after year after year? What happened to their first development department? They used to prioritize the production of these games way in advance. Kingdom Hearts 1, Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II felt complete. They felt like one coherent, continuous story with thematic purpose and a perfect way to tie it all together at the end. Now.... these games have introduced way too many themes and characters, I just want it to be a good ending.

If it takes that long then I hope they make it like ff7 rebirth where its like a 45+ hour game so it can cover a ton and maybe end the series here or at least make it just about to end while still having maybe a playable mickey riku and kairi. I'm wondering if somethings going to happen in the realm of light with the fortellers with sora and riku gone and thats where kairi comes in
