completely agree. I'd say Judo is the foundational basic to advance wrestling techniques from standing to grappling. Mastering Judo is actually having the key to unlock the logic of martial arts. Some takedowns on Judo even look typical to Aikido then Aikijutsu. keep it up Sensei!❤

This is exactly how i got into Judo, started with an interest in watching MMA then Jiu Jitsu, never watched high level Judo until I started playing Judo myself.

We haven't gotten to see many Judoka vs wrestler matchups in MMA, but the few times you do the wrestlers go flying

No-Gi judo could fill a gap between Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. It’s roughly Greco with sweeps, reaps, and trips. More standing attack options than Greco which tends to have a lot of dull hand fighting (with occasional amazing throws) and I think it would be more fan friendly. I think no-gi judo is something IJF should be pushing really hard on if they want to keep pace with BJJ.
