Guess I’m the half of Gen Z who isn’t. I’m completely on my own with all bills and most of my college loans (except the subsidized parent loan that was a REQUIREMENT to fill out)

What are you talking about? We make MORE money than our Parents, even with Inflation. Only after they graduated College did they make enough money to buy a home, etc. However, my Parents grew up in the 70's when people still had Integrity and even during Inflation, Landlords and CEO's weren't purposely Price Gouging like they do now. We live in a Souless, Debaucherous Nation and a Employer will straight up LIE to your face to get you to take a job, then change the rules when you get there. Ex: all those masses who got Tech jobs only to be Laid off once the Company no longer their Services.

I’m a millennial parent. My kids are Gen Alpha. My husband and I make a really good income so we intend to buy a larger than normal house to allow our kids to stay home as long as possible to get on their feet. We also are going to ensure they graduate from college debt free since things are only getting harder and more expensive. The next generations are going to need the support of their parents for a longer time to get on their feet.
