Thx So much I've been practicing for about 20 mins right now.
If anyone is using the dpad from my experience keep holding down on it while doing the inputs.
It's how I've done most consistently.

Good job i try to teach this to every new person to fighting games. Seeing the character properly do the move is such a confidence boost to new players.
I just explain it as:
If the person knows how to do a quarter circle just press Forward right before doing a quarter circle for an easy short cut

I remember the 1st time when seeing a Z motion it was so hard to understand for my little kid brain in the past, now every time i explain this to someone i'm like, "yeah, you can do a Hadouken? Now for the Shoryuken just press forward and do the Hadouken movement to do the Shoryuken"

I may not play this game actually I play melty but, thank you for showing people that are new to fighting game on how to DP. I guess that this game has some input leniency. And also the reason I played jump force up until now is because of Yugi but I hated how his fireballs work I guess that he is more of a lockdown character than a zoner

The way I've always done dp motions is by holding forward for a bit and then doing a basic quarter circle (fireball motion) and it works in like 99.9% of game

bro I was struggling with this so hard until I looked at a combo video and actually read it to try the inputs. I found if you’re on like a 5H you can go ahead and hold your 6 input then run the 23. I literally figured this out yesterday lmao
