I’m a dialysis tech and my first thought was the kidney swap, but I love how you are thinking about the future kidney transplant. He’s so lucky to already have a live donor available and it being his own mother. You can give him the gift of life twice ❤ God bless!!! Praying he finds a match asap!!!

I live in Lake Stevens and I have a lot of family and friends here! I’m passing this along to anyone and everyone I know. My husband and I have five children, I can’t imagine one of them going through this. The heaviness that hangs on your shoulders must be immense, I can only imagine. I’m so sorry that this beautiful little boy has spent so much of his precious life going through medical procedures. God has a plan for him, an amazing one. I’m praying that someone’s a match for you guys and I’ll do whatever I can to help! ❤❤

I do not understand if they're only going to test one person what if that one person is not a match

It really bums me out that because of my age (68) I can’t donate. Not even bone marrow

If decide to have another kid and you end up doing the paired kidney exchange by the time sully needs his 2nd transplant as long as your second kid is healthy they are old enough they should be a match for each other. It’s up to you though if you decide to go that route or not. I am not going to make the decision for you but that is something to think about if you decide to have more kids in the future.
