Eros is the son of Aphrodite, like Jesus and Mary, since Aphrodite is a goddess of love and born from the sea, just as the name Mary can mean either "beloved" or "sea of bitterness". And also Mariam, the sister of Moses, whose name means "drew out" (i.e. from the Nile). There is also the Greek myth of Semiramis, a demi-goddess whose mother is the fish-goddess Derketo and father is a mortal. As well as Inanna, whose father is Enki, a half-fish/half-goat god.

Lovely! Eros in Odyssey! Where???? Tell me just a citation that makes it clear that Athena loves Odysseus in a erotic way. Please, read the books, the primary sources. Finally, please, elaborate where in Homer you could find the idea of "salvation".... There isn't there at all :P Ah, yes, it is.... indeed, but it is not about Eros at all, and I won't tell it here.
