Same on the drums, same in parkour, same in martial arts. Thank you for explaining it in a great way! :))

First I've heard of it but sounds like it has similarities to what I call "Cutting a River." When you're sedentary, you're just a puddle. When you start training a new movement, that puddle starts to branch out into little streams; but they're shallow and the paths are jagged. The more you train, the more those streams fill out until those jagged edges are polished and eventually, you have a raging river.
But the opposite is also true; if you train poorly and perform the movements improperly, then that is the path the stream will take, engraining itself like a bad habit and making it harder to correct.

Iโ€™ve been greasing the groove at work. I do 20 pushups every hour and then 100 when I get home. Iโ€™ve found I can do a lot more pushups and with a lot more relative ease.

BIG UPS to you for mentioning pavel..many videos out there talks abou gtg without giving proper credit...although, i think pavel attributed gtg to some russian camp or the military or some scientist..people can find it in his book the naked warrior

I thought the whole premise concerning breakdown and repair of muscle fibers has been disproven
