I have 4C natural hair, and I hate boar bristle brushes. There are some hairstylist that say that they love it for curly haired people, but it’s terrible. It leaves your hair frizzy and nowhere near as smooth as a ceramic brush. It always comes out better with a Ceramic brush

The ceramic brush holds heat and acts as a hot tool when heated. It's sometimes a personal preference or hair type as to which is best for you ❤️

Boar bristle is my favorite especially for my own hair. I have naturally curly hair and for a blow out its PERF! Tames the frizzies, adds shin, and a bit of bounce without making me look like I have a bowl cut lmao.

The ceramic brush with bristles makes a bouncier curl and the boar bristle makes a nice smooth under curl at least that's what I've noticed when I was a hairdresser feels good to be retired now baby

OMG. Boar bristle brushes are EVIL in my curls. All they do is get caught/knotted into the hair... and they make the frizz WORSE. Yes, even when doing it with wet hair. My 2C/3A/3B hair eats that brush for lunch. LOL I stick to combs for my hair.

This is just giving me flashbacks of how I suffered bc people didn't know which brush to use for my hair, the pain still lingers 🥲

I'm only 13 and I plan on going to hairdressing school but right now I'm a macrame artist and I actually did my mom's dreadlocks and I have two manikins sitting in my room 😅

To Me you worked the hair longer with the ceramic and less with the boar bristle and of course the longer u work the hair with the blow dryer the shinier it will get if you know what you are doing so at the end it's not the brush it's the person doing the hair.

Could you please give us an update on how you're doing with cornrow braiding? You embarrassed me into learning how to do some, lol. I'm just beginning, though.

Does this also work if you have natural long thick hair. Like native hair. Some native American hair to be exact. Can't do anything to my straight hair.):
