I haven't had tonsil stones for a couple of years now thank God. They really do stink so badly. Mine use to come out if I made my toothbrush gag me while brushing. Always such a relief to get them out.

I suffered with tonsil stones well into my 30's. Finally got my tonsils taken out when my then 8 year old was having his removed too. π

I used to cough out my tonsil stones along with my mucus (more reasonable than you think)

I get tonsil stones now and then, sometimes smaller sometimes bigger. I have a super flexible tongue and just reach back to my tonsils and get them out. Sometimes they come out after a bit of struggle and other times it'll take days or weeks of going at it here and there to get it out. Back to me having a super flexible tongue, I can actually get my tongue up behind my uvula and into the back part of my nasal area, not entirely sure what it's called up there, lol.

Hmmm... weirdly enough, I also used to use that exact same white water pick with the adjustsble pressure settings on my tonsil stones. Used to work, but also always made me bleed a little. It was also a little awkward trying to get ti all the way back to my tonsils (if I recall correctly).

If you can't afford a fancy cleaner you can also use a syringe with boiled cooled water & a pinch of salt, just practice pushing steadily a few times before doing it in your mouth.

I just gargle with saltwater twice a day and within a few days they're all gone. Although I do this at the very first sign of tonsil stones so I doubt it'd work for the big ones but for the little ones it flushes them out and breaks them down just fine

Naturally I just let them fall out on its own. But if itβs bothering me so much, I would just use a really long q tip and gentle pushing it out. I know itβs a bad method, but it has helped me so much in the past. Or Gargle with warm water before going to bed.
