Notice the guy in the beginning was rounded but cut the slack, not jerking the bar, and didn’t round or flex throughout the movement.
This wasn’t cat backed or flexion throughout the movement, it was braced.

I love deadlifts especially sumo I train for hypertrophy. The amount of muscle fiber activation I get throughout my legs is insane with crazy pumps. I dont go stupid heavy for powerlifting slow and controlled.

The alternated grip is fine. So long as you make sure that the one hand under grip, you have your arm fully extended and locked out with little as much tension in the bicep as possible. Preferably none.
