I don't even have kids yet, but I own a Stokke Tripp Trapp. I worked at a children's resale store for years and couldn't pass it up when my dream high chair made it to 90% off clearance. I got it for $15! I've actually used it as a chair a couple of times, it's surprisingly comfortable even without the padding.
