I put golf balls in my nesting boxes to encourage the chickens to lay their eggs in there and a brilliant chicken snake decided to eat them instead of the eggs. 🤦🏻

Time for rat wire! Dig down all the way around your coup about 3 or 4 in. Get rat wire and run it up two sides all the way up and all the way down into the ground then cover it with dirt. The wire last under the ground quite a while so you shouldn't have to worry about that. Also depending on where you're at you may have to worry about invasive Snake species. Glad to have you back and I hope things are going to be much better for you and yours.
