I have a huge tree in Australia, but the fruit gets attacked by some bug and gets brown soft spots. I’ve tried bagging the fruit to keep the bugs and birds off so hopefully more success this year. Makes fabulous jam !

Do you have a favorite loquat variety? I grow golden nugget and love it.

My tree (in Orange County) has fruit rn, but they're not quite ripe. The battle, every year, for me is to get them before the flock of wild parrots do, LOL! They come and eat them and make quite a racket. 🥵 Drives the dogs crazy!
