Love it! I painted 1 through 12 on pieces of scrap wood from my husband’s shop, and now my toddler uses them as number blocks to play with and stack.
Not a single person remarked on the different sizes or irregularities. They just look at the precious baby next to them.
We overthink the baby “must-haves” for sure!

I did this too! I used flowers, pebbles, leaves etc of what was in season. So cute got many compliments and didn't have to buy anything. Great idea!

I did mine on the slate floor with baby on a cushion. Then drew the number beside him and a quick list of cute updates like month 6- sitting up alone, loathes bananas and won't sleep without his dino.

I love this! Wish I thought of something creative like this for my daughter. We’re on a very tight budget so there was so much I wanted for my baby but couldn’t get. We stuck to the essentials (clothes and diapers) and I’m grateful for not even having the ability to add to clutter in our landfills
