Millet Truffles with just 3 ingredients. This has to be one of my favourite recipes in my Millet Magic Series so make sure to try this one . Millet flakes are easy to find- you can get them on big basket, amazon or a local store. Subscribe for more healthy recipes and nutrition tips!


Ingredients:

20-22 medium size dates/ about 150g
Jowar flakes 1 1/2 cups (can use any millet flakes)
Almonds - 1/4 cup
Cashews - 1/4 cup
Sunflower seeds 1/4 cup
100gms dark chocolate (I've used callebaut 811, Amul also has a dark chocolate thats vegan)
1 tbsp coconut oil


1. Toast the Jowar flakes until crispy for a few mins.
2. Toast the nuts on a pan until roasted.
3. Add the jowar flakes to a food processor and pulse a few times until it's course or u have also add it to a ziplock back and whack them .
4. Add the roasted nuts to a blender and pulse a few times.
5. Now Add the dates to a blender and blend into a thick paste
6. Add all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix well.
7. Roll into balls.
8. In a heat resistant bowl add the dark chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave on 30 sec intervals until melted. It should be done in 1 minute. Mix well until the chocolate is nice and smooth.
9. Drunk the truffles in chocolate. Top with some more nuts.
10. Freeze for 30 mins to set.
11. Store in the freezer for a longer shelf life.
