Menurut informasi, ratusan ASN berusaha untuk melaporkan kehadiran kerja di lokasi dengan cara menggunakan titik koordinat palsu. Ratusan ASN yang memanipulasi presensi (daftar hadir) paling banyak berasal dari RSUD.
Menanggapi temuan tersebut, Pj Wali Kota Baubau, Muh Rasman Manafi telah meminta Dinas Kominfo Baubau melakukan penelusuran. “Kami akan melakukan perbaikan sistem aplikasi untuk segera menemukan pelaku,” jelas Kepala Dinas Kominfo Baubau, Andi Hamzah Machmud.
Nanitinya, ASN yang terbukti menggunakan fake GPS untuk mengisi presensi akan menerima binaan atau teguran. Selain itu, Diskominfo juga diminta untuk segera mencari solusi agar tidak ada lagi ASN yang bisa manipulasi presensi dengan fake GPS.
