Chhath Puja is a deeply spiritual festival celebrated with devotion across Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and by communities originally from these regions. It’s a beautiful time to honor Surya Deva (the Sun God) and Maa Katyayani, revered as Chatthi Maiya. Through this festival, devotees express their gratitude for life, health, and prosperity.

In colorful attire, people carry baskets brimming with offerings, chant Vedic mantras, and offer Argya to Lord Surya and Chhathi Maiya, much like the ancient Vedic sages who drew strength from the sun's energy.
