That's what someone who bought the printer to make money and is afraid of competition would say. I see what you're up to :)

I've owned a FLSUN V400 for a year now and my love for it still hasn't waned, I always use it to make toys for my son, and the printer brings us joy

i got one specifically for designing and producing parts for cars that are no longer available, which is a source of making money because without the printed parts the repairs would not be possible. the message of this video is a bit too broad for majority of people to understand its meaning, which is, “dont buy a printer with the expectations of it printing money, acquire the skills first because they are what make you the money, not the printer, its just a tool to help your skills make money”

Works great for repairs or accessories for power tools for example

This is absolutely not true. I made enough money on my first fdm printer designing prototypes for industry. I bought another SLA for resin. The business is booming. You just need to move your head a little. “People can't do something so they tell you that you won't do it either”. Never listen to them.

I worry that so many people that are trying to make make money from 3D printing are effectively all trying to sell the same things. Which is ironic because 3D printing is truly meant to let you be creatively free, yet it feels like 90% are making fidget spinners.

No, only buy a 3D printer if you’re prepared to spend more time printing parts to help your printer, print better, than actually printing the stuff that you bought the printer to print in the first place.

Another thing:Don't buy a 3D printer if you are too impatient to wait for a print

Got an ender 3 back then, didn't do much with it. Now I have a p1s I print board game inserts and accessories. Would save so much money comparing to buying crappy inserts online.

Learning to design stuff is very good. It changed how I 3d print after I learnt to use fusion 360

I agree because if you only buy it to run a business, it’s kinda defeating it being a fun and creative hobby. But it will be hard to both especially because if it’s your sole income you’ll be very busy.

Well, when I got my 3-D printer, I really wanted it because it was cool and I was really excited about it cause I was really creative and I love doing it and then people wanted me to sell them so that’s how I became selling it
