Did you know our BusterBrace is also a recovery tool that can get you off the trail with a broken tie rod? We just caught up with the episode of @mattsoffroadrecovery where they use the BusterBrace to get out of a sticky situation.

Pretty good idea, I'm going to build a set to throw behind the seat just incase. Could have used this more than once between friends and I. Give it a shot why not. Looks fairly simple to machine out of a block of aluminum. Thanks.

Only works if it is a clean break. If the tierod bends then breaks your going to be cutting off the bent part with a hack saw

That's awesome fr. 25+ year body tech. I'm just saying that's a very good invention. You should sell this to body shops too! We constantly deal with cars that have been towed in and dropped off outside in a parking lot. This could save a lot of time dealing with jacks and tire dollies. Just used in a temporary situation to get the vehicle in the building and in a bay.

Astro Tool used to make a pretty crappy one for just getting a vehicle's tie rods. You could limp a car or truck with a broken tie rod through a parking lot, so nowhere near as stout as this, but it helped where it could. This is so beyond that and I love it.

Maybe Ford should put stronger tie rods on the 4x4s??? Just a thought

$400 for one time only maybe needed if ever insurance? I’d consider buying it for around $100 tops maybe. $400 seems like a prototype beta price.
