Only a professional would care enough to get this precise and a professional is good enough he wouldnt waste profit on a tool like this.

Anyone who's ever owned underwear knows elastic doesn't stay tight for very many cycles.

As cool as that is, its obnoxiously expensive especially for a diy person at home. Can get 2-3 sections for the cost of this and measure tapes are free at harbor freight anytime you guy something. 😀

It's cool. Not sure I would ever buy or use it but it's cool.

Neat idea. Hope they got a patent, because it doesn’t look hard to make a knockoff.

Incidentally, have you ever heard of Band-Maid, from Japan? Just asking because of your shirts. Lots of fans of older rock bands love them. They have a throwback sound, but lots of layered details that make it fresh. I got kind of disenchanted with rock for years because it got so negative and angry, but they made it fun again for me. If you need a place to start, I’d check out From Now On, or Dice. They have a silly maid gimmick, but they’re super legit musicians. They’ve opened for Guns n Roses in Japan.

This seems a shit load more complicated than marking a rope at whatever distance you want at each point. Stretch it pull it, slack off on it, seems pretty ridiculous.

Pointless for metal fencing, unless you’re going to cut each panel down and create a whole lot of unnecessary work for yourself.
Timber fencing is the only option I could see this being useful, but then again it’s much quicker and easier to just use your brain and space the posts equally using a string line and a rail 🤷‍♂

Americans will do anything but calculate in easily divisible metrics 😂

If you can't measure your posts with a tape measure you have no business putting up a fence ngl. Like being able to take accurate measurements is the bare minimum required when constructing anything, if you can't do that you need to go back to the drawing board and maybe find another thing to do.
