Not just blown head gasket does that, I had a car that came with a casting failure on the block, and was having coolant on the oil since day 1 when bought at the dealer brand new.

Well when I had indication of a blown head and indication it was on the exhaust I tested to confirm to avoid paying a diag fee.....basically some of us we jus know or we know enough to save money......keep in mind how mutch will be saved for the customer when we know and can make ya money cause we don't have time or patience to actually repair......
Some times we know but still want ya for many reasons 😊

There's always moisture in the crankcase. Short trip drivers don't burn it off it collects on the oil cap
