Whats wild is i heard players that were depending heavily on taps, complaining about taps in the same sentence without offering a solid suggestion. Now we have this. The devs need to tap in with Teep a bit more for input. Maybe the pun was intended

Is it not that if you don't do damage to the player before they are downed that you won't get an assist? You only get assist SR if you "damage the eliminated player shortly before they were downed". So if you get taps when they are downed you still only get the Squadmate Kills SR.

I'd like more or less Sr depending on the person's rank you eliminate its annoying only being diamond but having to play top 250 and iridescent players like let me atleast get to that rank before putting me in those lobbies or give me more Sr for defeating them

This is a terrible change because in top 250 and high iridescent you already have to win and have massive kill games just to get positive SR. Lowering the SR gained makes the system pointless. They need to do something to counteract the negate SR for it to balance properly. I like the idea of not having to do after down taps, but not if it is to the overall detriment of the grind.

Seems good. No point in giving SR to someone who just taps a downed player but did not have anything to do with downing them.
