Brother, I can tell you, as an LDS missionary in the Czech Republic in the late 90's. (I'm no longer Mormon) I was about 19 months into a 2 year mission. No female contact for 19 months. We decided to treat ourselves and instead of cutting each other's hair, my companion and I went to a salon.
I sat back in that chair to get my hair washed and when that warm water started flowing and that girl's fingers started running through my hair washing and massaging I swear I felt the meaning of life course through my veins from head to toe. I realized it's something that can't be owned, described, or contained. It can only be experienced. I will never forget that haircut and the power of human contact. What a memory.
