The story says that they have a "tradition of not leaving Natlan" And they don't leave it because artifacts and skills work worse or don't work at all in other countries! It seems logical to me (though insulting).

We used to get stuff like Homa, Jade cutter and Mistspliter that work so well on so many different characters. Now, a weapon practically only works on its 5 star character and maybe a few nishe alternatives.

I don't mind Fontaines region specific abilitys as it just gives them an extra hit when attacking, a way to activate puzzles and a fun but limited way to explore (dolphin diving) but Natlans makes them very limited and actively be worse in every region except their own

Also one of the great things of seing a new artifact set is wondering which current character can benefit from it, not lets see the new artifact and wonder which characters in the future will use it.

Some people say that maybe mavuika os going to give nightsoul mode to other characters just like how furina gave hp consumption mechanic to all characters. But i doubt it for 2 reasons:
1- furina is not an archon. So there is no connection between furina and mavuika that people are saying this
2- hp consumption was a pretty straightforward mechanic. You lose hp. You gain hp. That's it. But nightsoul is like a completely new state that is pretty impossible for other characters to just randomly "gain it".

I was so glad to see we were finally getting more support-type artifacts and weapons, only to be disappointed that they are region locked. Also, if I remember correctly, Nightsouls Bursts can't be triggered outside of Natlan so that one 2pc effect is useless.

To be fair, harmonic whimsy is pretty much the same but for bond of life characters (chlorinde and Arlecchino)

even if its their best artifact sets,If you dont like it dont use it,you should only Farm these artifact sets for characters you loves from natlan or just Use a replacement,Like for the 4 piece of their element

Considering Furina was able to give every other character the HP-Draining mechanic to use the Marachause Hunter Set without problem, I think Mavuika might be the same, and give Nightsoul to party members so that the new artfacts work on them too

They should release the next sets of domains 3 weeks earlier like you can access it in the book thingy domains like how you can do weekly boss without completing the story quest or archon quest just so we can farm them early

And ? So was marechaussee hunter, then Furina showed up and made it the best option of most of the DPS characters.
Who's to say Mavuika won't do the same ?

We've had artifacts and wepons that are very spasific and often Taylor made for charecters, such as vermilion and echos relaxed in 2.7 that practialy only worke on xaio and ayato respectively, or that one wepon that buffs you based ok how meany liyue char you have.

I like how obsidian codex is just a direct powercreep to marechausse (granted that you can trigger the effect, but even just the 2pc itself is better i believe)

I think mavuika will be able to share her nightsoul blessing with all her team and active the effect of the artifact for them. Similar to how furina can do so with the fontaine artifacts

I personally hate it because it leaves no room for creativity. The hunters set in Fontaine was supposed to only be for Fontainians+Any character with Furina but you can literally trigger the set in a burning team because of the self damage. Clam set can be used on dehya to afk a boss to death despite her not being a healer. Thundering fury can be used on non electro characters in taser teams. There were so many ways you could get creative with artifact sets and Natlan’s artifacts are just cringe Natlan character=Big crit rate🤯 Natlan character=Big unconditional dmg bonus😱. I hope this isn’t set as a precedent for future artifact sets but I doubt i
