what I like is... if you pay attention..
Stolas is CONTROLLING the narrative. While he means ultra well... he is still trying to lead and hope for reactions. Insted of asking Blitz how it is.
Stolas like a royal "thinks" he knows best... but in reality... Stolas.. while being kind. Is completely oblivious to Blitz.
Stolas is too focussed on the outcome and narrative and not what Blitz is saying... not until Blitz snaps and oops... Blitz said something really dumb and self destructive, but that's cause Stolas is being manipulative for an answer insted of being straight and ask: "What is confusing you?"

I honestly, for the life of me, can not tell if someone is trying to be nice out of legitimately or to get something out of me. Because I used to be really gullible and did a lot of stupid shit as well as taken advantage of because of this.
(Given that I'm a loner by default, you can see why I will make that as a first assumption.)
So yeah, having the attitude of Naofumi from Rise of the Shield Hero isn't a stretch.

Am I the only one who roles his eyes whenever we go to Earth? I’m genuinely asking, it’s just that they do the typical routine of “human’s idiots and doing exaggerated stuff” and it’s just doesn’t feel as interesting as the stuff in Hell.

The fact that Stolas jumped so quickly to “I have my answer, I see how it is, that’s how you see me” etc. irks me. He has to understand why Blitz acted the way he did. He knows his history and how he’s been hurt. Stolas could have said something to the effect of, “I understand how this seems, and what you’ve been through, but I’m quite serious, and I want to talk this out.”
But what do I know? I’m just a therapist who cares way too much about this show. 😂
