I've been in one of these rejected take offs on a 757 as well. It's impressive. The airplane stopped very quickly, a lot quicker than this one. I was in DCA and someone crossed our runway.

I had a screeching stop rejected T/O on a 727 at Newark Airport. A small private plane poodled across the runway in front of us. 180 turn around, do over and was away. (It was Peoples Express airline for those old enuff to remember them in the US.)

That can’t have been much less than V1 speed for a B757-2… the crew’s last minute split-second decision could’ve been a decision which saved countless lives that day, the howl of those amazing engines as well🙌🏼
