I'm one of those wimps who likes to play this game on easy. Those flood with rocket launchers are terrifying because they're one of the two things that actually pose a significant chance of killing you on that difficulty (the other of course being lightly tapped by any type of vehicle).

The worst one I ever got was when onw grenade went off half way across the room. And there was a convenient trail of them to where I had taken cover.
Four plasma went off and chief was still bouncing around the room when I responded.

I bought the MCC for Christmas and I did that mission for the first time last week and that specific checkpoint holds the record for most failed attempts. Around 20 on heroic.
