Jamaicans are nice people... so nice that you didn't even realize your life was in danger. Please don't put your face over anyones open pot of food. Many islanders don't play about the integrity of the food. We don't need anything flying out of your nose or mouth and into the pot.

Wow David. I know this is Jamaica but in my day in Trinidad we ate crab only in callalloo. Now everyone cooks crab in coconut curry. In Trinidad it's curried crab and dumplings. I love all the seasonings especially the amount of thyme he put in it: makes a whole lot of difference to the taste. Did you actually eat all of it? It looks really delicious. I hope you licked your fingers when you were done: that was finger licking good especially with all that sauce. Mmm good.๐โค๏ธ๐๐ฆ๐น๐น๐จ๐ฆ One note of caution: do not wear white clothing if you are going to eat curried food. It stains and it's very difficult to clean especially if it has turmeric (saffron)
