It’s also important to protect your skin barrier otherwise too much salicylic acid used to often will leave a compromised barrier leading to secondary issues. Don’t overdo it. More is not always better.

I love that the products you recommended aren’t the most expensive ones out there! Cerave and inkey list are both on the affordable side and it's so helpful finding something priced on the lower end

I used to have these. Counterintuitively, the best thing I ever did to reduce them was start moisturising the area - removing the oil just meant my skin kept trying to produce more, making the clogs worse. Moisturising allows things to flow more naturally and lets the skin clean itself. My pores have been so much clearer since I started working with my skin instead of against it!

Thank you for clarifying they are not blackheads. This education really helped me reduce my risk with excoriation disorder! Something no psychologist or psychotropic medicine has been too good at.

I've always wondered why I could squeeze my nose and get little tiny zit like strands to come out. Watching that sticky sheet roll off pulling out all the black dots is very satisfying haha

The cera ve foaming cleanser works wonders. I've always had horrible black spots all over my face but my nose looked the worst. My girlfriend is a dermatologist assistant and when she saw the condition my face was in she started applying that stuff on me about twice a day and now after 5 months, I'm looking like one of them K Pop stars 😂

Sound advice.

I think people underestimate moisturisers in this. I think since moisturisers help cells remain hydrated, they help them exfoliate naturally better and become less sticky/clumpy

Cerave resurfacing serum for sure! Also, mild daily exfoliant with salicylic acid works as well.

I have had this problem bothering me since I went through puberty (I am now 22)... I've managed to keep it down most of the time after picking up on a routine in most recent years, but I had no idea these were not blackheads!!! This video is a blessing
