I used to have these. Counterintuitively, the best thing I ever did to reduce them was start moisturising the area - removing the oil just meant my skin kept trying to produce more, making the clogs worse. Moisturising allows things to flow more naturally and lets the skin clean itself. My pores have been so much clearer since I started working with my skin instead of against it!

Thank you for clarifying they are not blackheads. This education really helped me reduce my risk with excoriation disorder! Something no psychologist or psychotropic medicine has been too good at.

The cera ve foaming cleanser works wonders. I've always had horrible black spots all over my face but my nose looked the worst. I think people underestimate moisturisers in this. I think since moisturisers help cells remain hydrated, they help them exfoliate naturally better and become less sticky/clumpy

It’s also important to protect your skin barrier otherwise too much salicylic acid used to often will leave a compromised barrier leading to secondary issues. Don’t overdo it. More is not always better.
