This actually came up for me which cost me the duel. While opponent only had a gozen, I was about to swing in with dark fluid for game but I had to send mathmech multiplication to get enough atk. Big mistake.

If weâre talking about types and attributes, I wanna take a crack at making a âDNAâ monster or 2 to go along with the existing DNA continuous trap cards:
DNA Surgeon (DARK)
Level 1
Fiend / Tuner / Effect
This cardâs type and attribute cannot be changed by other cards effects. Cannot be destroyed by battle by, and unaffected by the effects of, monsters with the same type and attribute as this card. If this card is summoned or sent to the GY, you can change itâs original type and/or attribute. You can discard 1 card (Quick Effect): Apply 1 of the following effects (Each effect of âDNA Surgeonâ can only be applied once per turn):
âŞď¸Declare 1 monster type: During the main phase of the turn you apply this effect, You can normal summon/set 1 Level 5 or higher monster of the declared type without Tributing.
âŞď¸Declare 1 monster type: Add 1 Spell/Trap from your deck to your hand that mentions that declared type in itâs name or effects.
âŞď¸Activate 1 âDNA Surgeryâ from your hand, deck or GY.

As someone who plays a single attribute deck and heavily utilizes goezen match this information is very useful because monsters that are multiple attributes at the same time are typically fairly strong as a result of that, and being able to destroy them in this way is beneficial to my strategy

I was expecting it to only apply to the attribute in the icon and disregard the one in the description, but I guess this makes more sense

If gozen match is already face-up on the field, and you control 2 dark monster, you can't normal summoned light and darkness dragon because he his a light monster in your hand, even if the end result the 2 dark monster would be gone. However if Gozen match is already face-up on the field and you control 2 light monster, you can summoned light and darkness dragon because he his only light monster in your hand, but once light and darkness dragon hit the field you have to send it to the graveyard.

So when you can choose the attribute (rather than it being treated as two) it wouldnât send correct? Or no?

Question.
With the likes like Light and Darkness Dragon, if another card is on the field that changes all monsterâs attributes (eg, DNA Transplant), would BOTH attributes disappear and it only become the one, or would it become the new one AND the one written in the effect?
Also, could you bypass Gozen by having it just become the attribute in its effect?

I like the lore meaning behind this, whereby gozen match effectively splits the Light and darkness dragon into individual dragons (dark end dragon and light end dragon respectively) and both gets taken out
