I appreciate that you encouraged him to play and experiment with the loom...I do that as well when little ones visit. Children who are told they can't touch things are afraid to try things later. You are a sweet auntie!

My daughter is 3 years old and she’s very curious when it comes to my rigid heddle loom and other crafty hobbies. It’s one of my greatest joys seeing her being comfortable among the things I love! 🥰

That is sweet. When my youngest was about 7, he helped me cut pieces for a pillow that matched a quilt i made my mother in law whike she was battling cancer. I helped him by holding his hand on the rotory cutter and let him draw the lines for some heart stencils, let him cut those and showed him how to iron the pieces. I let him sew with my machine, guide the fabric while i ran the speed. 😊 He didn't know i took some pics of him working.
When it was done, I embroidered a message to her from him on it, stitched the hearts on it, printed and framed a great pic of his concentration and we gave it to her for Christmas. She passed a little over a month later😢 That we didn't expect.
He is almost 30 now and he just brought me the pillow for a little mending. He is proud and it and the quilt will ALWAYS have a special meaning, more than a toy.
He is very much a guy. Can fix his car, teained his German shepherd, plays guitar and drums, has a beard but doesn't hesitate to tell someone that he sewed, ironed and helped make that. As a mom, ❤❤❤❤ it makes me proud.
Awesome mom....to see your son learning a craft, and spending time with you.
