A simple question: Why should you work with layers in videos? Just like in graphics or photo editing programs, layers make your work easier in video editing. It's best to use as many as you need, because that keeps your editing flexible. Decide on a main track at the beginning of your project, for me here in this mini tutorial it's my blah blah, and then layer b-roll, text and emojis on top of it. A lot also depends on the editing program: with iMovie there's only one additional video layer and with CapCut you always need a clip in your main track. Be careful with green screen or the "cut" effect: Your background is the main track and your blah-blah is superimposed. Does this tip help you? #editing #videocutting #videos
