and the explosions are coded as arc damage so on arc subclass or prismatic those kills will make you amplified

Crazy part is nechrocasm doesn't say it poisons enemies anywhere on it... yet it does it without needing necrotic

I used this for a majority of my legend TFS campaign and was pleasantly surprised by the buffs. One for Thrall is very easy to keep rolling and that damage buff puts it in a class of its own for ad clear. The more responsive explosions allows desperado to keep running without needing a reload. Over all, my second favorite D1 exotic finally feels like it has a home in the sandbox. Itās funny how some of the best primaries in the game right now are Khvostov, Outbreak, and Necrochasm. And I know itās a stretch, but I do feel that Khvostov has a lot of Zhallo Supercell vibes with the intermittent āshocksā of AoE dmg and the very fast orb generation (kind of reminiscent of the super energy on kills from Zhallo). Thatās my #1 from D1. The primary weapons sandbox has never felt better, and Iām happy kinetic options are finally getting ad clear potential that was formerly hardlocked behind Energy weapons for the most part (sunshot, tghoul, GLance, Ticuuās, Riskrunner). All 4 weapons of sorrow are feeling amazing now.

As a necrochasm main, this happens a lot where the poison kills them and they end up clearing the room. Kinda normal

Also if you use glacier grenades the glacier grenades will start ticking from the nechro poison, and if you shatter them while they are burning they will also have cursed thrall explosions on top of them shattering

New is just the catalyst part, but the chaining explosion kills like that was exactly the same the other two seasons

Necro is definitely the nastiest add clear for easy content, but thatās unfortunately when I donāt really need help lol. I feel really underwhelmed with it against harder to kill targets unfortunately

If they didn't change anything, using necrotic grips or spirit of necrotic makes explosions on bodyshots, if they hit with a melee(it was like that in lightfall)

Weapons of sorrow are my mains in pve š„° never take off necrotic grips so š¤·š¾

Tbh in that level of content tyranny of heaven with dragonfly/incadescent or the new raid bow with dragonfly/voltshot do similar stuff but are better for higher level content while nechro falls flat on higher difficult
