Got to call that one for Gibson even though I am a Taylor fan

I always love the way taylors look and how easy they are to play, but the sound never speaks to me. I love how we all perceive guitar sound so differently. There's something for everyone.

I bet these guitars cost bank!! The Taylor sounded brighter and the Gibson more compressed/equal.

Oddly enough my J-45 and AD-17e are the 2 guitars I take to every gig I have.

Even as someone who owns a Taylor, the Gibson tone sounds better to me here.

As a Martin fanatic and big Taylor hater, I gotta admit I really like the Taylor more here. I hear less of the pick, more of the punch and ring.

Very interesting. There is a difference when playing in person and in $$. The Taylor came with usual great setup, easy to play neck profile and standard scale length. The Gibson has shorter scale, narrower nut and some low end growl, that was not played here. Also more $.

Taylor's always ring like a bell !! A trait that I personally love. Taylor for me.

Looking forward to the full video review, but initial impressions are that if I wanted a J-45 again I could save myself a lot of money by buying an AD17e.

I’m not a fan of the Taylor brightness. I have recently purchased a Gibson 50’s J-50 and it’s very even sounding guitar but it does have a growl at the bottom end which I’m currently attempting to exploit while
I experiment with string changes.

The Gibson, classic that it is, definitely sounds better to my ear. Thank you
