My mom started working in the Cook County 5th dist, in 1964. Being a single mother, and having to work night court in a lot of towns, I went with. I promise you if someone ever dared to talk to one of the judges I grew up knowing, they would be in a cell with a bailiff telling them they're staying there until they learn some respect. I spent a lot of time sitting on the last bench listening. It let me know I never wanted to do something where I ended up in front of one of them. Back then a lot of jerk kids got the offer of, go in the Army or go to jail. Lots picked the Army even though it was Vietnam. And you couldn't just quit back then. So you became bullet fodder. This judge is so nice.

😆 I love watching Judge Oakley! He and Judge Cedric Simpson are my online favorites, that have absolutely no problem whatsoever in making sure that they're in charge of the courtroom and not the sovtards that go before them. They won't tolerate any word salad, no matter what dressing you put on it.
