The one thing I can't stand about this new Lord's of the Fallen is the sound design. It's so tinny, and there is no "oomph" to it. Elden Ring, by comparison, sounds like you're in a THX theater.

Love all fromsoft games and i am so happy to see other devs finally nailing a souls game. Lords of the fallen is a must play. Great game

I've played ER 350 hours. About 80 in LOTF. Both excellent games. No reason to be a purist.

I can't lie, and every fromsoft fan will probably agree that there is a certain feeling an actual fromsoft game has to its world design and gameplay mechanics that, in my opinion, no other dev has been able to properly replicate yet. I'm really hoping to see that happen, I'm not a "fromsoft or nothing" guy when it comes to this beautiful genre of games, I just don't think it's happened yet.
