I’ve got a leather and ring version from snipersling (cause I’m a guitar player too, and I need that left hand functional…and I have hit it. You got to fuck up along the way to developing consistency, pansy or no..lol)
To those fearing it to not release and come back at you, I have never experienced that and I don’t see any way for it “not” to release as it’s not physically pinched in like you would the nock on an arrow.
I am curious tho, did you have to do much filing on the sides of the perch to keep it from ripping your cords up? That’s the biggest issue I have, and if you’ve got a good hack for getting your tips out out of wood I’d love to hear it

I was waiting for this MASSIVE safety issue to be addressed. Everyone messes up sometimes... If I thought I would get kicked in the nuts 1 out of 5000 times walking into work, you bet I'd wear a cup every day. Too much protection is basically the opposite of a person that buys a lottery ticket. You may call us pansies but there is a good chance you'll hit your hand at some point.

Wow killer dart. To those who don't know. You don't need a dart for those things to be deadly and awesome hunting tools. I had what we called a wrist rocket. It would put a steel ball through one of those Galvanized garbage cans like Oscar the Grouch lived in. The energy they store in the bands is terrific. Some states here let you use what is called a sling bow. Basically, a slingshot set up to shoot arrows. Of course, the distance is 15 to the maximum of 20 yards. But that's the range many bow hunters. I saw a man take a nice buck with one. It ran less than 10 yards before dropping.
