You selected inters as the last stint of the race I think but not for that pitstop you took

If you look closely at the strategy screen, the parts is red are the parts of the stragety already done and the medium stint wasnt displayed as red even though you did the stint before the red flag, the way to avoid this happening again is probably to check for that red line and update the strategy for the tyre compounds after that red line as you kept it as mediums and you went out on mediums, probably an issue with the game's programming, im sure EA will fix it in the future.

It's your fault. There was a warning that it wasn't the right tyre and you selected to go to the recomended tyres afterwards
