??? Isn’t the entire point targeted hormonal disruption? That’s how minoxidil and finasteride and a host of other acne/hair treatments work. When it penetrates the skin are the effects not local? How much actually gets into the blood stream and travels systemically? Usually minimal. This is a case where actually having a medical/clinical background makes a difference vs. just being a chemist looking at the composition and receptors without any actual medical context.

Considering Michelle is usually the one that says "it's pretty safe, actually, everyone calm down", this is worrying.

The people that use this are probably the same people that worry about hormone disrupters in Pantene

How ironic that some influencers will claim anything is a hormones disruptor but then promote this, I am convinced the venn diagram is a circle here

Lead is also natural, and no one wants lead in their body

Natural equals safe is such a dangerous myth. Like Gwyneth saying she doesn't believe anything natural could be bad for you. Ok, go make some Oleander tea and tell me how you feel then, Goop Girl

I was so sure the hair removal wasn't true cause essential oils get gassed up so much online.
Not only is it true, it's exactly as bad as it'd have to be to actually work!

if you're so pro natural but also insist on trusting that a random essential oil will remove your hair instead of just leaving it or shaving it... idk what to say to you

Not that long ago, there were people in IG comments saying they should put rosemary oil on their legs for hair removal, since it apparently caused hair loss on people's head, I think. I couldn't believe they were being serious! I wanted to comment that this didn't sound like a good idea, since many essential oils are strong and can cause dermatitis or other reactions, but I wasn't sure about rosemary specifically so I didn't
